| Here is quick clipboard drawing tute. It's fun and easy to do. It works with ALL drawing features @ ImageMagick The idea of using a clipboard image vs. Composite is, that you have more control in exact pixelpoints of what you'd like to paint. First find an image that you would like to paint your draw with. For simplicity reasons and to show you the exact steps for this feature, this tute only scratches the surface of what you can do with this. I.I used Image Magick @ ArborhostingII.My clipboard image, that I cropped out from another one is: hereIII.enter this image in the URL box and press VIEWIV.click on left top menu OUTPUT and checkmark CLIPBOARD (instead of multi or single file!)Press output V.Once you'll see the image in the next window, click on the top menu INPUT. On the input page, erase everything in the URL box and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page.Under SIZE enter: 200x350 under META enter: black under FORMAT choose: .xc Underneath you should see your clipboard image displayed. Scroll back to the top and press VIEW VI.click on DRAW.under Primitive choose: Ellipse in the coord box enter these numbers: under Fillcolor choose: black under Strokecolor choose: red Stroke width= 2 ALL THE WAY ON THE BOTTOM under MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS: checkmark the checkbox next to: "Paint the drawing primitive with the clipboard image". This is the feature that will do the trick. press Draw and you'll see on the next window your painted draw. VII.click on draw in the top menu again.Keep the primitive on Ellipse and change the 2nd set of coord numbers to this: Leave everything else the same except,UNCHECK the checkmarked box next to"paint the drawing primitive...". press draw again and you'll see the outcome in the next window. VIII.Output it or embellish it further. One example of this draw can be foundNOTE:Just a few more pointers.a.) When using the cliboard image to paint, FILLcolor is not working in addition. The DrawClip image is used instead as fill. b.) Stroke color can be added in addition to the clipboard image and will show up as a little border around it. The maximum width of the stroke color can not exceed "2". If you don't use a stroke color, the draw will only show the clipboard image in the form of your draw. c.) Mettalic images such as "this one" create a super effect. Try it instead of the leopard print. d.) Try it with other Draw primitive such as Round Rectangles (RRs), Path (this works great in photographs if you like to exchange part of it with another), Circles, Beziers, Arcs, Rectangles, even lines. e.) It also works fairly great with Animations. f.)Last but not least. Draw is NOT the only feature at the Image Magicks where you can use a CLIPBOARD image. F/X is also allowing you alter and append a clipboard. This also requires the same method of appending the clip-image as described above and to process it further afterwards.
